Overview
The Threads Underground Affiliate Program ("Program") is designed to reward individuals ("Affiliates") who help spread our brand identity and drive traffic to our store. By joining the Program, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Section 1: Eligibility and Application

1.1. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Affiliates must have a minimum of 1,000 followers on social media platforms such as Instagram, with an engagement rate of 3-5% or higher.
  • Content must align with Threads Underground’s brand values and aesthetic.

1.2. Application Process:

  • Fill out the application form, providing personal information, social media handles, audience details, and promotional strategies.
  • Threads Underground will manually review applications to ensure brand alignment and content quality.

1.3. Trial Period:

  • New affiliates will undergo a 30-day trial period to demonstrate their ability to generate sales and promote the brand effectively.
  • All commissions generated during this time shall be retained until the trial period is complete at which point all commissions due will be disbursed in a lump sum.  
  • During the trial period, should an affiliate be terminated through no fault of their own or through a failure to meet the expected sale of 3-5 items, all commissions will be disbursed upon termination. 
  • Should the Affiliate be terminated due to a breach of contract or the unethical/immoral usage of social media during the trial, all commissions made during this time shall be forfeited. Threads Underground is liable to reasonably prove breach of contract or unethical/ immoral usage of social media before termination.  

Section 2: Affiliate Responsibilities

2.1. Promotional Content:

  • Affiliates may use Threads Underground’s provided media kit or create their own content, ensuring all promotions reflect our brand’s ethos and professionalism.
  • Affiliates must follow all posting guidelines shared by Threads Underground.

2.2. Referral Links:

  • Affiliates will be provided with a unique referral link to track sales.
  • The link must be used correctly to ensure proper tracking and commission allocation.

2.3. Prohibited Activities:

  • Affiliates may not engage in false advertising, spam, or any practices that misrepresent Threads Underground or harm its reputation.

Section 3: Commissions and Payouts

3.1. Commission Rate:

  • Affiliates earn a 5% commission on all transactions made through their referral link.

3.2. Bonuses:

  • Affiliates will receive a $50 bonus for every $500 in sales generated.

3.3. Sales Maturity Period:

  • Sales are subject to a 7-day maturity period to account for potential returns. After this period, the sale will count toward earnings.

3.4. Payout Schedule:

  • Affiliates may choose to receive payouts weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
  • Affiliates will receive tax documents at the end of the year for reporting purposes.

Section 4: Customer Incentives

5.1. Compliance:

  • Affiliates must comply with Threads Underground’s brand guidelines, promotional strategies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

5.2. Misconduct:

  • Threads Underground reserves the right to terminate any Affiliate for:
    • Falsifying sales or engagement metrics.
    • Violating brand guidelines or promoting Threads Underground inappropriately.
    • Engaging in activities that harm Threads Underground’s reputation.

5.3. Termination Notice:

  • Affiliates may terminate their participation at any time with written notice to Threads Underground. Any commissions made after written notice is given up to account revocation are to be disbursed to the affiliate in final disbursement.
  • Threads Underground may terminate the Affiliate’s participation with immediate effect if there is a breach of these terms.
  • An Affiliate being terminated after their trial has ended is entitled to any and all commissions owed, for the pay period up to the date of termination
  • Upon termination, the affiliate's account will be revoked and the link deactivated.  
  • Termination isn't goodbye forever; any prior affiliates are welcome to reapply at any time. 

Section 6: Program Modifications

6.1. Updates:

  • Threads Underground reserves the right to update or modify the Program, including commission rates and bonus structures, at any time. Affiliates will be notified of any and all changes.

Section 7: Liability and Indemnification

7.1. Liability:

  • Threads Underground is not responsible for any technical issues, tracking errors, or loss of earnings caused by third-party software.

7.2. Indemnification:

  • Affiliates agree to indemnify Threads Underground against any claims or damages arising from their participation in the Program, including misuse of promotional materials or referral links.

Section 8: Governing Law

8.1. Jurisdiction:

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from the Program will be resolved under U.S. jurisdiction.
